Acute Toxicity
There was no toxicity observed at the highest doses tested for REPARAGEN'S components. This is equivalent to 700 TIMES the recommended dose.

On this basis REPARAGEN’S components have received a GHS Group 5 or unclassifiable. This highest level of safety that is awarded for acute oral safety and toxicity analysis.

Sub-Chronic Toxicity
For products that are likely to be consumed on a sustained basis it is important to perform a Sub-Chronic safety study. REPARAGEN was administered orally for 28 days with follow-up for another month up to doses that were equivalent to 300 TIMES the recommended dose.

These studies also demonstrated that there is no toxicity associated with REPARAGEN consumption on a long-term basis as determined by the following criteria:

  • Food consumption
  • Weight
  • Eye exams
  • Biochemical tests
  • Blood and urine analysis
  • Functional observations
  • Organ weight
  • Gross and histopathological analysis

Based on these results REPARAGEN was classified as GHS Group 5 or “unclassifiable&rdquo, which is the highest safety level that is awarded.

These studies were performed according to OECD guidelines for the testing of chemicals No. 408 “Repeated 28-day Oral Toxicity studies in Rodents” and were performed by Santerra Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Clinically, in our experience there have been no reports of adverse events with, and ongoing clinical studies have not revealed any complications.
